About
Due to the February 22, 2011 6.3magnitude earthquake, the Lyttelton Harbour Information Centre has relocated to temporary premises at 65 London Street, Lyttelton.
You can now find us in a very casual looking port-a-com building, next door to the Fire Station. Bursting with volunteer staff, we can offer quality visitor and local information.
To check out upcoming events, attractions and local news have a browse through the “What To Do” Section; the “What’s On” Section; and of course check out the “Community” Section.
For local residents come on down and visit us for a chat, share your story, or ask a question. We love to help, and are here to connect you with other members of the community or organisations if needed.
For all visitors we recommend you contact us by phone or email to find what services are available in the area; or use the online directory under the “What To Do” Section to find up to date visitor accommodation and attraction information.
Lyttelton Harbour updates; and the Lyttelton Review are now being published on a regular basis. If you would like to subscribe to these information updates, please email us – otherwise these can be found on under the “Community” or “Earthquake” Section.
Whether you are local, or from afar, we will do our very best to ensure you see and experience the very best of the Lyttelton Harbour region. The knowledgeable team at the Lyttelton Harbour Information Centre look forward to welcoming you to Lyttelton soon!
