          About

Last year the Lyttelton Harbour Information Centre relocated to temporary premises at 65 London Street, Lyttelton.

You will find us in a very casual looking port-a-com building, next door to the Fire Station.  Bursting with volunteer staff, we can offer quality visitor and local information.

For local residents come on down and visit us for a chat, share your story, or ask a question.  We love to help, and are here to connect you with other members of the community or organisations if needed.

For all visitors we recommend you contact us by phone or email to find what services are available in the area; or use the online directory under the “What To Do” Section to find up to date visitor accommodation and attraction information.

The Lyttelton Review is now being published on a regular basis.  If you would like to subscribe to these information updates, please email us – otherwise these can be found on under the “Community > Lytttelton Review" section of this web site.

Whether you are local, or from afar, we will do our very best to ensure you see and experience the very best of the Lyttelton Harbour region.

The knowledgeable team at the Lyttelton Harbour Information Centre look forward to welcoming you to Lyttelton soon!

          THIS WEEK IN LYTTELTON!

Monday 9 July: image taken from the look out located on Simeon Quay right here in Lyttelton-the historic port town of Christchurch. Over looking the inner harbour the bulk carrier United Stars arrives aided by Lyttelton's two blue tug boats. Yet another example of a perfect day in paradise, where the sun shines brightly and the winter mercury reaches a high of 12 degrees. Wish you were here?
