            Lyttelton Mt Herbert Board Meetings PDF Print E-mail

            The Lyttelton Mt Herbert Community Board meet twice every month.  The main meeting is held on the Thursday of the third week of each month, and this is when most of the community business is done. Then in the first week of each month, the Lyttelton Mt Herbert Community Board hold a short meeting, mainly to confirm the meeting minutes so when the report goes to the Council it is up to date and reflects the community’s current concerns.

            Lyttelton Mt Herbert Board Monthly Clinics PDF Print E-mail

            The Lyttelton Mt Herbert Community Board representatives are hoping to maintain better communication with the people they represent by holding monthly clinics where residents can meet the Board and talk informally about any matter of community interest.  These are currently held between 5pm and 6pm on the second Thursday of each month, at the Lyttelton Library.

            The Lyttelton-Mt Herbert Community Board represents almost 5,500 people and some 2,200 households in an area bounded by the Port Hills ridge line in the north and west, the ridge line running across Gebbies Pass, Mount Herbert, Mount Fitzgerald and Big Bay in the south, and the coastline from Big Bay to Godley Head in the east encompassing Lyttelton Harbour and Port Levy. The community includes Lyttelton, Diamond Harbour, Governors Bay, Port Levy and Quail Island.
