Decision making process and key milestones are being prepared in collaboration with CCC, EQC, Tonkin & Taylor, and the Port Hills Geotech Group.

Detailed technical assessments including hazard mapping and rock fall hazard, cliff collapse and debris inundation are ongoing and are expected to be completed late-August (these are not remediation works but ongoing assessments).

Detailed technical assessment of land movement and slippage is ongoing and no time frames can be provided at this stage.

Internationally peer reviewed GNS guidelines on life-safety risk assessment for rock fall hazard have been provided to CCC for approval and adoption.  Timeframe for adoption still to be confirmed. Implementation can only proceed once the guidelines have been adopted.

GNS guidelines for cliff collapse and debris inundation are being prepared and a draft report will be provided to CCC and CERA for consideration in mid-August.

CCC dangerous building notices have been issued to replace red placards.

Remediation work of imminent rock fall hazard to life lines and some residential properties is ongoing and under CCC control.
