Following the September 4th, February 22nd and June 13th series of most damaging earthquakes, home owners across Canterbury will now be looking to repair, and in a number of cases, rebuild their family homes. When repairing or rebuilding a home, there is the opportunity to upgrade and make changes. 
Community Energy Action is a Christchurch-based charitable trust committed to providing warm and healthy homes for all. Community Energy Action was established in 1994 and works throughout Canterbury north of the Rakaia. Their main activity is the installation of insulation and heating in the homes of all incomes, with surpluses going to additional assistance for vulnerable people on low incomes.
