Stephen specialises in black and white abstract photography and stained glass photography.

The black and white abstracts are taken in Lyttelton and Wellington with a manual lense and are hand printed.  Stephen's photographs of stained glass have been taken locally at various locations and are printed using a specialist colour process called Ciba Chrome giving them a unique and enduring quality.

Outside of the United Kingdom, New Zealand has one of the world's finest collections of Arts and Crafts era stained glass. It is this that captivated Stephen's imagination more than a decade ago and has inspired him to create some stunning photographic works.

Born in Christchurch Stephen has spent much time travelling - with 12 years spent working as a musician in London. He moved back to Canterbury and has been living in Lyttelton for the past several years.
